Privacy policy

A short, honest summary of what we collect, why, and how to make us forget it. Questions? Get in touch.

1. Who is responsible for your data

Maison Atlas SARL, registered in Marrakech, Morocco (DMC #M-2014-318), is the data controller for any information you give us through this website, by email or by WhatsApp.

2. What we collect

Only what we need to plan and operate your trip: name, email, phone, nationality, dates of travel, group composition, any allergies or accessibility needs you share, and payment confirmation (we never store card numbers — card data is processed by Stripe).

3. Why we use it

To send your quote and itinerary, contract suppliers (riads, drivers, camps, guides) on your behalf, manage payments, and provide 24/7 in-country concierge support. We will only contact you about your trip and — if you opt in — our quarterly journal.

4. Who we share it with

Suppliers strictly required to deliver your trip (your specific riad, driver, camp). Card processors (Stripe). Hosting and email providers under EU-grade Data Processing Agreements. We never sell or rent your data to anyone.

5. How long we keep it

Active trip data for 24 months after departure (for warranty and tax reasons), then archived in encrypted form for a further 5 years as required by Moroccan tax law. You can request earlier deletion at any time.

6. Cookies

We use only essential cookies (session, language) and privacy-friendly analytics (no third-party advertising cookies, no Facebook Pixel, no cross-site tracking).

7. Your rights

You may request a copy of the data we hold on you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw consent for marketing at any time. Email privacy@maisonatlas.example and we will respond within 14 days.

8. Security

All connections are over HTTPS. Internal access is restricted to staff who need it. Payment is handled by PCI-DSS compliant processors. We have never had a data breach.

9. Changes

We may update this policy as our practices or the law evolves. The 'last updated' date at the top will always reflect the current version.
